ABOUT
Our History
Originally known as the Saturday Morning Club,
the Kobe Women's Club was established in 1914.
And in 2014, we proudly celebrated our 100th Year Anniversary!
The club was formed by a group of dynamic women.
They felt there was a strong community need for an organization
that would offer English-speaking women of all nationalities
an opportunity to socialize on a regular basis.
In 1922, the club changed its name to
Kobe Women's Club,
sometimes known as "KWC."
Our Purpose
To give members an opportunity to share diverse cultural experiences
while living in Japan, and to study subjects of interest
with women from all over the world.
In addition to taking part in educational and cultural activities,
the Kobe Women's Club provides its members and guests
with a warm and friendly environment to socialize together.

Our goal is to also provide a lot of fun and memorable experiences
that will give all of our members an opportunity to
foster valuable friendships that will last a lifetime.
Club Activities
The Kobe Women's Club meets at the Kobe Club in Kitano,
on the second or third Tuesday of the month from September to May each year.
Beginning at 10:30 a.m., we start each morning with "Coffee & Tea Time."
Then at 11:00 a.m. our main program event begins.
KWC also organizes one monthly field trip (for an additional fee).
Our field trip generally takes place on the third Tuesday of each month.
So come and join us.
